HEY ALL,
This is the big one! This meet is a little different to the others. We will be heading to Snowdonia (Eryri) for the third time this year. There is Sport, Trad and Bouldering available so caters to all preferences (although we all know easy trad multi pitch is where its at).
Please read the updated itinerary below as this is slightly different to other meets!
Friday
Meet at university concourse for 5:00pm with all your stuff. You’ll pay for the trip beforehand with either cash or a bacs transfer. We’ll pack everyone into buses and cars and set off at 5:30. On the way we’ll stop at winchester tesco for dinner and then we’ll arrive at the hut later that evening around 10:00 - 11:00pm.
Saturday
We’ll wake up and have breakfast (porridge) and make our lunch (sandwiches). We’ll then set off for a day of climbing!! We'll come back to the hut earlier than normal so that we can dress fancy (black tie/smart type attire) and head to a fancy dinner where there will be good food, awards and enforced social interaction (think aunty's 60th birthday/retirement celebrations but with friends).
Sunday
We wake up and have a FULL ENGLISH breakfast and make lunch. Everyone helps clean up the hut then we set off for climbs! In the early evening we’ll start heading back and we’ll be at Southampton late at night. Everyone will be taken to their accommodation so you don’t walk home late at night!
The weather is unpredictable and may be cold so bring layers!
